UPDATE:

Max is a cuddly senior gentleman who is laid back and easy going.   Unfortunately his former mamma had to give him up due to her own health issues and now Max is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years.   He is very easy going, is great with other dogs, kids and adults.   He does not really play with toys but enjoys the backyard sun, walks and being next to you either on the couch or snuggled in bed.   He is so excited when you get home and he loves meal time and treats! He will sleep quietly in his own bed but he does love to be in the big bed with you if he is allowed.   He knows how to use a doggy door and has been doing well with that, even with going out in cold and wet weather.   He is currently on a kidney kibble diet but he is doing great and you would never know he is 15!   "Their affection is timeless, their devotion is ageless, their love is forever. Adopt a senior dog! "

Max is laid back sweet senior gentleman    who does not act or look his age. His owner had to give him up due to her own health issues and he is now looking for someone to love him through his golden years.   Max is super easy going, is friendly to adults, kids and other dogs.   He has not played with toys but he does bounce around happily especially when he knows it's time to eat. He walks easily on leash, loves to be near you and will let you know when he would like to be picked up so he can sit on the couch and watch Tv with you.   He sleeps quietly in his own bed at night and snuggles in his blanket.    After a week of learning our routine and the doggy door Max has not had anymore accidents in the house.   Max does have early stage kidney issues which can be common in older dogs and will benefit from staying on a kidney care wet food. Otherwise he is doing great and you would never know he is 15!
