UPDATE ON TROOPER:

This little guy is a delight. He is only about 8 lbs but he is so full of energy and affection. He does very well with our cats and dogs. He has a sweet, loving nature so I don't think he would have a problem with children. This boy loves companionship and will take every opportunity to snuggle with you. I keep him on a leash outside because he does love to explore and he sleeps in a crate at night although he would prefer not to.

Trooper is a very sweet and lovable 6 year old doxie.  He is still real playful and active.  He is crate trained but really does not like being by himself, he likes being with the other dogs,  He is housetrained and knows how to use a doggy door. Trooper has found himself back in Rescue yet again.  His adopters had to surrender him because he was in need of neck surgery and they were not able to put him through surgery again.  Trooper had his neck surgery and is doing Fabulous!
