Dottie was surrendered to CTDR because she having unexplained seizures. It was a financially difficult for her owner to give Dottie all the medical care she needed. Her owner loved her so much that she did what she had to in order to give this sweet, little pup a chance at a longer life.Dottie doesn't know that she is anything but a normal, perfect dog. She lives her best life charming everyone who comes in contact with her. She will roll over on her back to get belly rubs almost immediately when someone gives her attention. She has a ton of energy and loves playing with her pit bull mix foster sister for hours a day. She enjoys going on walks but is scared of cars that pass, so she will just sit until a car passes, then start to walk again. Dottie takes two anticonvulsant medications every 8 hours to help prevent seizures which she still has about every 6 weeks. She is leash, crate and potty trained.
