He really likes to play. If you say "go get your ball" he knows which is the ball and which is not (which is pretty neat). He's getting better on the leash. Amazon just dropped off a harness that I think will help a ton on that front. No issues with potty's - and I'm making sure he gets treats every time he goes potty outside, to keep him to it. He is okay in the crate, but not great. I often feel like little dogs get scared in big wired crates. I've got a small one on the way that should help. He will go in the crate, but doesn't like to be in it closed for more than a few minutes before he starts barking - so I'm letting him sleep on the bed for now. Otherwise, on walks he seems friendly and curious towards other dogs, cats, and people. He's gotten better with being picked up, and much less skittish. He really likes going outside, had no issues with the cold or rain this morning, which I found impressive. Overall, I'd say he learns quickly - and is eager to follow direction. He's pretty medium energy. Very happy sleeping, but also likes to run around. Oh, and he hardly barks. He does bark if someone comes to the door, or if he hears another dog barking (we had a work conference call and one of my coworkers dogs was barking - he joined in  )
