Heartworm Prevention is given on the 12th of each month

Scooter is a small 10-12 lb, red smooth dachshund mix. He is estimated to be about 13 years old but is active and seems much younger. He is very friendly and loving to people. He was surrender after his owner could no longer care for him or his sister “Squeak”. In foster care Scooter has been good with other dogs both male and female. He has been very laid back and people friendly. His favorite activity is lying beside or close to his people and loved on. He is kennel trained and does his business outside on a schedule. While he gets along well with his sister “Squeak”, I do not see a particularly strong bond. Both are separated regularly without issue or stress. If you are looking for a friend for company and TV watching Scooter would be a good fit.
