CTDR is happy to announce the arrival of this handsome boy into Rescue.  This handsome boy was turned into a shelter in South Texas by his owner, who could no longer care for him.  She indicated he would only eat cooked chicken, ( a tad spoiled).  People were emailing CTDR and sending privates messages about this boy as he was set to be euthanized if no one was going to pull him.  CTDR was not going to let that happen.  A big thank you to the foster and her mother ( they are previous CTDR adopters) who met the volunteer from South Texas to get this little guy and then get him to the CTDR vet for his vetting. This little guy has been eating well but is a little weak in his back legs as to indicate a prior possible back issue.  He will remain on strict crate rest for the next 3 weeks.  He is fully vetted and will be looking forward to finding his forever home soon.  Please check back on our website for more updates on Smoky.
