Heartworm Prevention is given on the 15th of each month

UPDATE:  Bella is as sweet as that sweet face of hers. She is such a good girl, not naughty at all. She prefers to be with her humans, is a little snuggle bug, and will follow you wherever you go. She has done really well with her foster sister dog, and we still haven't heard her bark. She is unfazed by thunder and fireworks. She is very food motivated, she has learned to use the ramps in the house with little effort. She is a great companion, sweet as can be.

 

 

Welcome to CTDR Miss Bella.  This sweet senior girl was found waking the streets of San Antonio and was taken to a local shelter in hopes her family would show up, but deep down the staff knew no one would after seeing the condition this girl was in.  She has a very large tumor on her right side and it was obvious that this tumor had been there quite a while and the owners did not bother getting her any help.  CTDR was contacted right away and there was no way we were going to let this sweet girl spend one more night in the shelter and we were committed to getting her the vet care she so needed.  Bella will be having surgery on October 17th to have the tumor removed and then she will be ready for her forever home.  Could you be the one for Bella?   Please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
