UPDATE:

Toto is the goodest boy. He is a total cuddlebug. He loves his people, his foster sisters, even the cats. Some of his favorite things to do are sit in the sun, chomp on sticks in the yard, run after his foster sisters outside, and sit on his person's lap. He is now completely house/paper trained. He sleeps in his crate with no problems, although he likes his breakfast early and will let you know he's hungry. He's at the chewy stage, so he has lots of chew toys all over the house. He will seek out the warmest spot in the house; he especially likes the people bed and the various cat and dog beds around the house. He is good with the cats. He would love for them to play with him, but he doesn't chase or harass them.

He hasn't been around children, but he is a very gentle dog. He loves kisses: getting them and giving them. He knows a few basic commands, and he for-sure knows that the word "treat" means. He is a happy, sweet, cuddly boy. Whoever adopts him is very lucky indeed.

Toto is a sweet little cuddle bug. He loves to be with his people and will follow me all over the house. He likes to sit (or nap) on my lap. He also loves to give and receive kisses. He enjoys playing with his sister, sitting in the sun in the yard or in front of a window in the house, chasing toys, and chewing sticks. He has learned to jump over the baby gate and onto the furniture. If there is a cat bed anywhere, he will figure out a way to take it over. House training is progressing, but not perfect yet. His potty habits are pretty regular, so it's easy to know when he needs to go out. He is very good about sleeping in his crate. We tell him, "Time to go to bed; get in your crate," and with a little direction (and a treat), he gets right in and settles down. Even if he's not ready to go to sleep, he will quietly sit in his crate and watch us or chew on a toy.  Right now, he needs to go out and potty around 4 a.m. We take him out, he potties right away, gets back in his crate, and goes to sleep until breakfast time. Many afternoons, we find him in his crate or one of the other dogs' settled in for a nap. When we leave the house, we confine him to a small room with a bed, pee pad, toys, and water. He's good about using the pee pad, but usually spills the water. He is great with people and good with cats. He has not been exposed to children, but I don't anticipate any problems because he's so small and gentle.
