Heartworm Prevention is given on the 14th of each month

While I may be timid and skittish at first, once I come around (and I will) and warm up to you I will undoubtedly be your forever friend. I just love to burrow under any blanket around. I like hanging out on the couch next to my Foster Mom and if her Forever Doxie wants to be next to her, that's fine I will just go to the other end of the couch and chill out under the blanket for a bit. I am definitely not an alpha dog. I am just a loveable, sweet, little girl who is looking for my own Forever Home. I have no problems with other dogs.

I have been having some accidents in the house but my Foster Mom says I am doing great and learning why she wants me to go outside with the other dachshund. Today, there were no accidents and I did everything I needed to when my Foster Mom got home from work and let us out. She was so proud.

 

I am very fond of belly rubs, especially if I have fallen asleep with my belly in the air.  I welcome all rubs whether I am sleeping or not. 

 

So, go ahead and ask to meet me. I am sure you will just love me to pieces once we meet (or you may have been won over by my pictures).
