Heartworm Prevention is given on the 1st of each month

Hey Everybody!  It's me, Punky Punk checking in!  I GOT FUZZ!!!  Lookie, Lookie!  My Hair is growing in, and I have a short coat all over my little, itty, bitty body!  I had that nasty Demodectic mange, but it is going bye bye now, and I am just about all better! When I got sick, I got dumped at the shelter, and the folks there thought no one would love me and want me, and they were going to send me to the big sleep!  But Lookie at Central Texas Dachshund Rescue!  They saved my little booty and with the help of those nice folks at Cypress Creek Pet Center, got me all better!  My coat is a lite blonde color with a darker racing stripe down my back.  I have black around my muzzle and over my eyes!  I have super, duper, cute, goldish/greenish eyes!  The Dr. said I gots all my adult Teeth and so that makes me about 5-6 months old.  My Mama was a Chihuahua and my Daddy was a Chihuahua/Dachshund Blend.  So I have come out as mostly Chihuahua, but CTDR says I can be an honorary Dachshund, even if I don't look much like one!  My body is a little bit longer then other Chihuahua's and my tail, just a tad longer!  But I am cute just like I am without a title!  I have gotten big and fat (giggle) and weigh 4.5 pounds and crawl into my Foster Moms sweatshirt pocket!  I sleep all night quietly in my crate, except when I get to sleep in the big bed sometimes! I am crate trained.  I'm working real hard on my outdoor potty training and am making great progress!  I go to the door, just don't always make it OUT the door!  But working...working.....!  I am most excellent in the snuggle department and can always make time to snuggle cuddle!  I do love to run and play, and have that puppy energy!  After about 20 mins of running around, I am ready to take a break and nap and snuggle!  I have gotten braver and love to explore my world, just as long as someone is there to scoop me up when I get scared! I am not a big barker, but I can growl really fiercely! Foster Mom, quit laughing at me...I AM FIERCE!  I have now gotten all my shots and my microchip and am looking for my forever home.  I will need to be spayed soon, but we can work out that detail!  So, now the biggie thing is finding my forever home.  I would love to be under the Christmas Tree in my forever home and meet Santa when he comes down the Chimney!  Do you have room under your tree for me??  I promise to be really good, and really FIERCE!  Go on and fill out that application.  You know you want to!
