Let me tell you about “Bevi”. Bevi was found as a stray , and brought to a kill shelter. When Bevi was evaluated it was discovered that she was pregnant. Things did not look good for poor “Bevi”. But when CTDR was made aware of poor Bevi’s situation they immediately stepped in and saved her . She was sent to the Vet’s office where she was X-rayed and found to have seven unformed puppies that would kill her if they came to term. The Vet took the unformed puppies and spayed poor Bevi. She then was brought up to date on all shots and preventatives. Bevi is now in a foster home where her lively personality can come through. Her foster family says: Bevi is good with dogs, both male and female, big and small. There is no shyness or aggression in her. She is a sweet little lap dog that will be good with children. Her reaction to cats is unknown, but they suspect she would be easily socialized with them. Bevi is kennel trained, housebroken, comes when called, and will gladly walk with you on a leash or harness. Her foster dad says she has the best characteristics of both breeds. Her chocolate dapple coloring is striking and beautiful. If you would like to learn more about Bevi, her foster dad will be glad to answer all questions.
