Scarlett is a senior, YOUNG, lady. We are not sure of her age, but the Veterinarian Office where she had her dental work, has pegged her at about twelve years of age. Scarlett's story is one we all hate to hear. Her person, that she spent most of her life with, died. The family that inherited her, dropped her off at the shelter as fast as they could. Fortunately she came to the attention of CTDR. CTDR has helped many seniors in the past and stepped up to help Scarlett find her second and last loving home. Scarlett is 10 pounds of love and affection. She is an active young lady who gets along with everybody, her dachshund siblings, children, men and women. She is house trained, and will go by the door when she needs out. Scarlett is also partially deaf, but this has been NO handicap. She will come, go or kennel at a signal from your hand. I can recommend Scarlett as either a personal or family dog. She is so easy going that she will fit in to almost any situation, but she would prefer one that includes you lap and a place in the BIG bed.
