Amplify Austin Day is the biggest giving event in Central Texas. For 24-hours, residents across our seven-county region are invited to participate by giving back to the local nonprofits that do so much good for our community! Inspired by the shared characteristics of Chinese dragons and dachshunds, encompassing traits such as strength, courage, and resilience, this source of inspiration comes to life.
We invite you to make Central Texas Dachshund Rescue (CTDR) your chosen charity during these 24 hours of giving. Your support can make a significant impact on the lives of dachshunds in need.

Texas Wienerfest is on Saturday, September 21st at Central Machine Works in East Austin! The event will feature vendors, drink specials, dog portraits, and more! It will also be a benefit for us, Central Texas Dachshund Rescue.

• Amplify Austin Day is the biggest day of giving in Central Texas having raised $112.7 Million dollars for the local community since 2013.
• During a single 24-hour period, from March 5 to March 6, 2025, residents across a 7-county region will come together to support more than 700 nonprofits including CTDR.
• The contributions raised by CTDR via Amplify Austin Day allow us to continue our vital mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dachshunds in need of a second chance.
• Our fundraising goal for Amplify Austin Day 2025 is $8,000.00.
• The Amplify Austin Early Giving starts on January 29th.
